Players Coming

Corinthians next year will defiantly be the most important of its life. Next year Corinthians will be celebrating 100 years and will be in the Libertadores, a championship which is missing for the trophy room in Parque Sao Jorge. The Libertadores is a competition which requires skilled players and also players with experience, which what Corinthians is seeking in players for next years. Many names were already heard, such as Argentinean midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme, Iarly currently in Goias, Julio Cesar also from Goias, Roberto Carlos former Brazilian left wing, Tcheco the number 10 of Gremio, and many other players, who could sign for the todo poderoso Timao next year and help of the way for triumph. The players that are going to sign with Corinthians is still a mystery, but for sure they will be talated and the hope of the Corintianos is that they can lead them for the first time Libertadores.

The Decider

Corinthians does not any more have any chances of winning the championship in 2009 but could decide the winner of the championship. This is due to the next games which Corinthians are having, the opponents in order of date are, Nautico currently in the 17^th position, Flamengo strong candidate for the title, and Atletico Mineiro another strong competitor who is direct candidate for the Brazilian Trophy. Corinthians is going to have a fundamental role in the last rounds, by his games influencing who is going to win the championship, and who is going to have play the second division next year. Certainly there were rumors that Corinthians would lose their games on purpose, so that there rival Sao Paulo would not win the championship, but something that is not clear is that Corinthians never enter the field to lose even if their rivals are going to get benefited by their lost.

Halloween-Vamparies

There is a crazy new trend that is happening all around the world. This new trend has contaminated the televisions and big screens all over. Twilight, Vamparies Diaries, are just some of the inumerous programs, series and movies which relates the love between vamparies, and simple mortals. In all these programs, it created a huge number of fans all around the world. The most famous of all, is Twilight, and it protagonist, Edward Cullen, claims to recieve over thounsand of notes from fans every day. This crazy love for vamparies is just in the begining and have more and more fans every day. The new movie of Twilight is coming out in November, and there will be more impossible love, between, humans and vamparies.

Corinthinas have a new program called the fiel torcedor, in which it offer discounts for people who buy thorugh this program the tickets for the Libertadore of the America. Also people only can buy their tickets thourgh the internet, and this is a great program for those who have not a lot of money as the vast majority of the fans.

Pacaembu until the end of Libertadores

This Thursday Corinthians boared declared that they are currently seraching for other opition to hold their games in 2010 after the Libertadores ends. Corinthians study to change the stadium due to the high price that they have to establish, because as the President said, there are little divison between special sectors in the Pacamebu, so there is a generalization when charging a price. There are ticktes in the Pacaembu, charged at 500 reais. Coritnahians also said that ther are studieng the possability of building a new stadium, a old dream that Corinthians fans have from a long time a go.

Corinthians Loose To Fluminese

Wednesday, Corinthians traveled to Rio de Janeiro to face the last position team from the Brasileiro Championship, Fluminense. The Corinthians fans expected that the team would easily win, due to the bad phase which the Carioca team goes thourgh at the present moment. But fluminese scored a goal at the 3rd minute of game and disistablazed the Paulista team which took about half a game to get back to it, but at the 23rd Dentinho with a header scored for Corinthians after Jorge Henrique passed with his chest to the Corinthians forward. After the goal the Fluminese team started critiscizing the team, and Corithians took over the game, but missed many goals and couldnt score the goal and take the three points home. Corinthians chances of winning the championship are almost zero, but untill there is light there will be hope. GO CORINTHIANS!

Welcome Edno

Edno is the new player to join the Corinthinas squad. Edno was a former Portuguesa club and had many teams interested in him, such as Palmeiras, Sao Paulo, Santos and many other important Brazilian and Foriegns clubs. Edno choose Corinthinas due to its fame around the world, and also due to the chance to play for the first time a Libertadores in the next year with the Paulista club. The new midfield striker joined after an not happy episode that happened in his last club, when board entered in the locker room with weapons and thereathen Edno for not playing with 100% will. Edno choose Corinthians and could be an extreme help for the club in the next season, so welcome Edno and score many goals.

Happy Birthday Fenomeno

Ronaldo Nazario de Lima or most known as simply Ronaldo, is definatly an icon for the Brazilian and worldwide soccer. Ronaldo after passing thorought important clubs as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Milan, joined Corinhians in the begining of these year, and after his joining to the Parque Sao Jorge club he already won 2 titles and is the actual top scorer of the team with 15 goals untill now. Ronaldo today is celebrating his birthday, and is completing 33 years of many titles over the world, these huge expirence can help Corinthians in the 2010 dream of winning the Libertadores, and still try to persecute the dream of winning the national championship this year so happy birthday and stay with us Ronaldo.

2010 Dream Come True

Coirnthians had many years without winning the most important title considered in whole South America, the famous Libertadores of the America. Corinthians never had a team caple of winning due to series of facts, such as bad administration succeded by Alberto Dualib whole left a debt of about 100 million reais. Another fact which could led to the not winning the championship was a team that was not ready to face the Argetians who did not let the Parque Sao Jorge team win at least three time, two with River Plate and one with Boca Juniors home of the former striker of Corinthians Carlos Tevez. But in 2010 the story could be another, Corinthains is forming a team capble of winning any champioship, a team with experience and well rounded players which could help the TIMAO win their first of many Libertadores

Loosing the Hope

After having straight wins against the competitors in the Brazil Championship, the bad results have bring Corinthians way down in the table. Corinthians had at the start of the round 36 points and occupied the 5 round in the table, after the result Corinthians remained with the same number of points but still the teams that were under in the table got their position and after the round Corinthians occupied the 10th position in the table and losed all the chances of winning the championship, but still Corinhtians fans remained with the same fame of never letting the hope go away did cheer for the team untill the last minute but the results were not good but they still are by the time side, and in this way it will be, forever!

Winning 2009

Corinthians after suffering alot in the years of 2007 and 2008 caused by bad administrations and a series of wrong exectutions jurdicial and in the fields that even caused the team to go to the second division of the Brazilian National Championship a place which was unknown for the fans of the team before that. But the team gave a huge come back and already won 3 championships in two years, and they want more. These year the Corinthians didnt have in their plans the winning of the National Championship, but after a good victroy streak, the team had to change their plans and the Nati0nal Championship is now a priority in the club. Corinthians have the mentality of winning and right know have the 6 th position, with more 16 games, Corinthinas have only 1% of chances to win the championship but still there are chances and imporant games with direct competiton teams could make the difference, as for example the game agaisnt Sao Paulo, and Palmeiras which will be played in the next few weeks, and the results with the news will be posted here. Stadium, a Dream!

Corinthians is one of the biggest teams of the world and there is no dought upon that. There are other big teams at Sao Paulo, as Sao Paulo who carries the name of the state and city of Brazil, Santos who is from the coast of Sao Paulo State and Palmeiras the biggest rival of Corinthians. One thing that these theree teams has in common that Corinthians dosent have, is a stadium where they could settle their games. Corinthians had many plans for building a stadium but none of them still got out of the paper and started to being constructed. The stadium is in the list of chores that President Andres Sanchez have to do before leaving the club. A stadium could not only help finacially but also could help the team to win more. This logic is followed by the fact the teams at their home stadium win more than they do outside of their hometown. Corinthians then with a construction of a stadium could be a better team in some of a kind and also help the banks of the team who are loaded of depts. Although it seems easy to construct a stadium it takes time and also lots of money, a rescource that is definatly not abudant in the club.

The Come Back

Corinthians has passed thorugh hard time in 2008 passing thorugh the second division of the Brasileiro Championship. Corinthians has passed through also many critical finicial problems that the last president had left for the new president Andres Sanchez. Corinthians had only in the last years the help from its crowd that had never left the team behind. Sanchez did a superb job at the command of the Paulista team, he cleared over 100 million reais in depts, and took the team out from the second division and forming a qualitative team won three from three championships in the last year. Sanchez determained goals for his stay at the head president of the team. His main goals were for the first year to take the team out of the second division and to start to clear some depts. For the second year he promised the chance to participate at the Libertadores, Corinthians biggest dream, and also he had promised more depts being paied. Untill know he had followed everything he have promised, hope he will make it to the end.

Riquelme would be a good thing?

Juan Roman Riquelme or mostly known as only Riquelme have been known as a possible new player to sign with the Corinthians team, and would definatly help the team in the lead at the following championship and also at the next year Libertadores.Riquelme only thing stading between the sigining at Corinthians is the high values salaries he requests for the team to pay him. Riquelme resquests about 500 thousand reais per month which is considered absolutly out of reality in the Brazilian soccer. Riquelme is unquestionably one of the best midfielders of the whole world, but in the 2009 season what have the made the difference in the Corinthians team to the others was the chemistry that had between the players. Riquelme is known to disturb this chemistry and in many cases to cause fights between players, which in Corinthians could be a horrible and could bring down the dream of the championship in 2010. So would Riquelme be a good sining for the year of 2010 ?
