Good Begining

The begining of the year for Corinthinas was good. The team could finally form a team that is competitive in any competition, and also proove that in the first games. In the first four games Corinthians mantained the streak of not loosing in the Campeonato Paulista. The first game Corinthians tied with Monte Azul, in 1 x 1, the new comer Iarley scored for Corinthians. In the second game against Bragantino Corinthians won for 2 x 1, with gols from Jorge Henrique and Elias, in the third game of the Campeonato Corinthinas won agaisnt Oeste in itapolis 2 x 1 goals from Boquita and Paulo Andre. At the fourth game of the Campeonato Corinthians tied at home with Mirasol 1 x 1 and this time Ronaldo scored the first gol, by the way a beautiful gol in which he showed calmness to dribble the goalie and then score.

Players Coming

Corinthians next year will defiantly be the most important of its life. Next year Corinthians will be celebrating 100 years and will be in the Libertadores, a championship which is missing for the trophy room in Parque Sao Jorge. The Libertadores is a competition which requires skilled players and also players with experience, which what Corinthians is seeking in players for next years. Many names were already heard, such as Argentinean midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme, Iarly currently in Goias, Julio Cesar also from Goias, Roberto Carlos former Brazilian left wing, Tcheco the number 10 of Gremio, and many other players, who could sign for the todo poderoso Timao next year and help of the way for triumph. The players that are going to sign with Corinthians is still a mystery, but for sure they will be talated and the hope of the Corintianos is that they can lead them for the first time Libertadores.

The Decider

Corinthians does not any more have any chances of winning the championship in 2009 but could decide the winner of the championship. This is due to the next games which Corinthians are having, the opponents in order of date are, Nautico currently in the 17^th position, Flamengo strong candidate for the title, and Atletico Mineiro another strong competitor who is direct candidate for the Brazilian Trophy. Corinthians is going to have a fundamental role in the last rounds, by his games influencing who is going to win the championship, and who is going to have play the second division next year. Certainly there were rumors that Corinthians would lose their games on purpose, so that there rival Sao Paulo would not win the championship, but something that is not clear is that Corinthians never enter the field to lose even if their rivals are going to get benefited by their lost.

Halloween-Vamparies

There is a crazy new trend that is happening all around the world. This new trend has contaminated the televisions and big screens all over. Twilight, Vamparies Diaries, are just some of the inumerous programs, series and movies which relates the love between vamparies, and simple mortals. In all these programs, it created a huge number of fans all around the world. The most famous of all, is Twilight, and it protagonist, Edward Cullen, claims to recieve over thounsand of notes from fans every day. This crazy love for vamparies is just in the begining and have more and more fans every day. The new movie of Twilight is coming out in November, and there will be more impossible love, between, humans and vamparies.

Corinthinas have a new program called the fiel torcedor, in which it offer discounts for people who buy thorugh this program the tickets for the Libertadore of the America. Also people only can buy their tickets thourgh the internet, and this is a great program for those who have not a lot of money as the vast majority of the fans.

Pacaembu until the end of Libertadores

This Thursday Corinthians boared declared that they are currently seraching for other opition to hold their games in 2010 after the Libertadores ends. Corinthians study to change the stadium due to the high price that they have to establish, because as the President said, there are little divison between special sectors in the Pacamebu, so there is a generalization when charging a price. There are ticktes in the Pacaembu, charged at 500 reais. Coritnahians also said that ther are studieng the possability of building a new stadium, a old dream that Corinthians fans have from a long time a go.

Corinthians Loose To Fluminese

Wednesday, Corinthians traveled to Rio de Janeiro to face the last position team from the Brasileiro Championship, Fluminense. The Corinthians fans expected that the team would easily win, due to the bad phase which the Carioca team goes thourgh at the present moment. But fluminese scored a goal at the 3rd minute of game and disistablazed the Paulista team which took about half a game to get back to it, but at the 23rd Dentinho with a header scored for Corinthians after Jorge Henrique passed with his chest to the Corinthians forward. After the goal the Fluminese team started critiscizing the team, and Corithians took over the game, but missed many goals and couldnt score the goal and take the three points home. Corinthians chances of winning the championship are almost zero, but untill there is light there will be hope. GO CORINTHIANS!
